As a single mom to a toddler, I was determined to build something meaningful for myself and my son. I spent my nights baking and my weekends selling at farmers markets and craft shows—often with my little helper by my side.
What began as a passion for baking quickly evolved. I found myself drawn to the world of espresso, and over the next few years, I poured time into perfecting my craft while keeping an eye out for the perfect coffee vessel to bring this vision to life.

In 2022, with Washington still recovering from the economic shutdown, I took a leap and launched a mobile coffee stand instead of pursuing a traditional drive-thru. With vendor experience already under my belt and a commissary kitchen contract in place, I hit the ground running.
With a long-term goal of opening a brick-and-mortar, I picked up a trailer and began serving handcrafted espresso at local markets, events, and private bookings. That first year was full of momentum—I connected with fellow small business owners, partnered with major corporations, and built real relationships within the community.
Since then, The Village Perk has traveled across Washington and expanded bookings into Oregon, California, and Nevada. Now, I can say much of the hard work has paid off. The long hours, sleepless nights, and sacrifices are building something that’s no longer just a vision—it’s a thriving, evolving business.
